Winthrop Goes Down and the Atlantic Sun Final is Set

The biggest wipe out of the day was (6) Charleston Southern destroying (3) Winthrop, 8 people had Winthrop winning the Big South conference. In other Big South news, (1) Campbell and (2) Radford easily advanced to the semi-finals.  More Big South, (5) High Point took (4) Gardner-Webb right down to the last second, but Gardner-Webb was able to hold on for the win.

Atlantic Sun

We do have our first championship game match up with the Atlantic Sun.  We are going to have a chalky match-up of (1) Lipscomb vs. (2) Liberty on Sunday 3/10.

• Only 2 people have been eliminated, Chris Iannuzzi and TrainGuy 3001
• The picks are heavy towards (1) Lipscomb with 22 picks, however we do have 7 people on (2) Liberty, so this becomes a very important championship
• Team Rankings gave (1) Lipscomb a 65.12% win the championship

What should we look forward to tomorrow?

1. The Big South championship game will be determined, at least 2 people will get a loss
2. All 8 MAAC teams will be playing, at least 1 person will get a loss
3. All 8 Missouri Valley conference teams will be playing, at least 2 people will get a loss
4. The Ohio Valley championship game will be set and will be our first conference championship game, played on Saturday, 3/9
5. The Southern League 1st round tips off, but we don't care
6. The West Coast Conference 2nd round tips off, but we don't care, unless you want to watch for the Vegas money shots
