Atlantic Sun Quarterfinals Take Down Chris Iannuzzi

Day 1 of the 2019 conference tournament championships is complete and the only person that did not survive the Atlantic Sun was Chris Iannuzzi.  NJIT easily handled Chris's Florida Gulf Coast team 83-78.  The two top seeds, Lipscomb and Liberty both easily won and moved on to the Semifinals that will take place on Thursday, 3/7.  Congrats to Chris for being the fastest to lose a team in the 9 years of doing this -- I don't think we ever had someone lose a team on day 1 before.

On Tuesday, 3/5 we have 3 more conference tournaments tipping off with the Big South, Horizon League, and the Patriot League.  We will for sure have some people lose teams tomorrow based on the match ups. 

Big South

• The picks are fairly evenly split between (1) Campbell, (2) Radford and (3) Winthrop, but those teams are not playing Tuesday, 3/5.
• Sam I Am and Andrew are the only people with teams at risk Tuesday with (6) Charleston South and (7) Presbyterian.

Horizon League

• All Horizon League teams will be playing on Tuesday, 3/5 and Wednesday, 3/6, so everyone is at risk of losing Horizon league teams over the next two days.
• The picks are fairly evenly split between (1) Wright State and (2) Northern Kentucky, but we do have people that picked (3) Oakland, (4) Green Bay, (5) UIC and (6) Youngstown State.

Patriot League

• Only the 7-10 seeds are playing on Tuesday, 3/5, none of us picked a seed that low in the Patriot League, so nothing that happens will impact our pool.
