Green Bay Phoenix take down UIC Flames

Yes, Green Bay beating UIC was the most exciting thing that happened tonight in our conference tournament pool, as it gave TrainGuy 3001 a loss.  I don't understand the weird Green Bay Moving On graphic, but then again everything about Green Bay in general is stupid. 

In the 1st round of the Big South all of the favorites advanced, Presbyterian, Charleston Southern, and Hampton.  In the 1st round of the Patriot League, we don't care what happened as none of our pool team played.  These conference tournaments did not impact our standings.

Wednesday, 3/6 we will see 2 more conferences tip off, Northeast Conference and Ohio Valley Conference.  Only these conferences, as well as the Horizon League, will be the only conference tournament action on Wednesday.  We do not have any pool teams playing on Wednesday in the Ohio Valley Conference, but all Northeast Conference teams are in in action.

 

Northeast Conference

• All 8 teams are playing Wednesday and our picks are all over the place.
• The most popular pick is (2) Fairleigh Dickinson, but Team Rankings thinks (1) St Francis PA wins this conference tournament
• Over half the picks are on a 3,4,5, or 6 seed, which means bonus points



Horizon League

• (2) Northern Kentucky will be hosting (7) Detroit Mercy, Northern Kentucky is favored to win by 12 points
• (3) Oakland will host (6) Youngstown State, we do have a few people on Oakland and Pengin Pro is the sole Youngstown State pick
