2019 NCAA Basketball Conference Tournament Challenge: Northeast Conference Massacre

The entire Northeast Conference was in play on Wednesday, and we saw one pretty big upset with (6) LIU Brooklyn easily beating (3) Sacred Heart. Every year Sacred Heart is TJH's sleeper, and every year they lose in the 1st round, maybe next year. 7 people picked Sacred Heart in our pool, so we're starting to see the standings take shape.

Also in the Northeast Conference, (4) Bob Morris took care of (5) St. Francis Brooklyn. While this is not an upset, we had 3 people with St. Francis Brooklyn. 13 players in our pool now have at least 1 loss.

As we get into day 4 of conference tournaments, we now have 9 out of 32 conferences in play, so almost 1/3 of the conference tournaments have started. Beginning on Thursday, 3/7 we will see The MAAC, Missouri Valley, and West Coast Conferences starting conference tournament play. Below are the highlights to looks forward to on Thursday, and we finally have some day basketball!

Atlantic Sun

We enter the 1st conference tournament semi-finals with (3) North Florida vs. (2) Liberty and (5) NJIT vs. (1) Lipscomb.
We will have at least 1 person suffer a loss tonight, but we have the potential to see almost everyone wiped out if North Florida and NJIT both win. (5) NJIT vs. (1) Lipscomb is the game to keep an eye on tonight as it can be the most impactful.

Big South

The entire Big South will be playing in the quarterfinals throughout the entire day today, the games are spread out between 11:00 AM CST - 7:00 PM CST.
While our picks are weighted towards the top 3 seeds, we do have picks all the way through the 7 seed, so we will see losses today.

Patriot League

The entire Patriot League will be playing in the quarterfinals today, all of the games are at 7:00 PM CST, the worst when they are all at the same time.

With the exception of Jack and Amanda, everyone is on the top 3 seeds, and it is spread our pretty evenly across (1) Colgate, (2) Bucknell and (3) Lehigh.

While (3) Lehigh is our pool favorite, (2) Bucknell is the Team Rankings favorite and (1) Colgate is the actual 1 seed, so this will be an interesting conference to watch.
